Our Story
Centre Restaurant was started to serve its unique dishes in 1999 by a widely-known Chef Hüseyin Örlü in a park in the middle of a small town of Cappadocia, Uçhisar.
Chef Hüseyin started his career in Club Med (a global French Holiday villages chain) 25 years before he started his own restaurant in this magical region.
During his career in Club Med, he travelled all around the world to work for the company and he improved his expertise in world cuisine, speacializing on French and Italian ones.
Besides his knowledge on global gastronomy, the dishes and the taste he created in his kitchen was so unique that people from all over the world visited his restaurant every year.
The most important difference about him was that he never cooked to earn but to have the pleasure of seeing people having fun with the dishes he created because the more he cooked, the more he lived.
A la Carte
Our restaurant serves A la Carte food. Every dish is immediately prepared on your order, so everything you have will be fresh. The menu has been used since 1999 and consists unique tastes created with love.
Lunch
You can have our great tastes on our green terrace among colourful flowers. Our A la Carte menu is suitable for lunch too and you can enjoy your food or drinks with the songs of the birds under the blue sky.
Dinner
In an Aegean style atmosphere, you can have a romantic dinner by the fireplace. You can choose your dish from our A la Carte menu and enjoy the atmosphere with your drinks. You will feel the smell of the Aegean sea in the middle of Cappadocia.

Umut who is Chef Hüseyin's son has watched Chef Hüseyin while cooking since 2001. As a unique person who Chef Hüseyin let him to watch while cooking, now he is the other and the last luckiest person who can create the magic of Chef Hüseyin. As a person who has been working for tourism since he was 17, he is a miracle in the kitchen now.

We had a delightful lunch at the Central Cafe that is tucked away behind a flower and vine decked veranda just off the main square in Uçhisar. The food was delicious, carefully prepared, beautifully presented and served with great charm. The cafe is diminutive and very pretty, with simple yet tasteful decor and warm, graceful staff who are generous and attentive. The business has been in the family for two generations and there is a great deal of care that goes into looking after guests who are welcomed as friends. This small gem of a restaurant is well worth seeking out. Highly recommended.

I don’t recall ever having a dinner so tasteful!! So many flavours it was amazing! The Chef is supreme, the place is very comfortable and cute. Local wine is excellent. All at a reasonable price.

The best food we’ve had in a long, long time. Great relaxed atmosphere, very homely. We felt really looked after. Very reasonably priced. Can’t speak any higher of this place. They really feel like we’re part of the family.
